Bash Burgers – Mt Lawley (Boss Babes Bake) & Morley (food truck)

Looking for the best burger in Perth - visit Boss Babes Bakes + Bash Burgers in Mt Lawley or Bash Burger's food truck in Morley

What started as one of Perth’s most popular food trucks has now landed a permanent home in Mount Lawley, and burger fans couldn’t be happier. Bash Burgers has teamed up with Boss Babes Bake to open a fully loaded dine-in spot on Beaufort Street, serving up the same juicy smash burgers you know and love, now with added breakfast, baked goods, and coffee!

Whether you’re chasing the classic All American Double, spicy Chicken Dynamite, or an indulgent serve of Crunch Loaded Fries, this spot is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser. And if you’re loyal to the OG, Bash’s Morley food truck is still going strong six nights a week.

Ibby’s Burgers – East Victoria Park

Some of the delicious burgers available from Ibby's Burgers - one of the best spots for burgers in Perth

You’ll find Ibby’s Burgers along Albany Highway in East Victoria Park with retro 1950s diner vibes open until midnight every night! Perfect for casual hangs or if you just love a burger with serious attitude, Ibby’s is a must-try for burger lovers in Perth.

Expect juicy smash burgers, grilled and fried chicken stacks, and even camel patties for the curious palate. Their cult-favourite “Big Boy” is as indulgent as it sounds – smashed beef, crispy onion rings, bacon, fried egg, cheese and house habibiz sauce dripping from a soft brioche bun. You’ll also find kebabs, shawarma, loaded fries, and stretchy mozzarella sticks for the ultimate late-night feast.

Hoodburger – Northbridge, Ingelwood, Applecross, Duncraig, Mandurah

One of the first American-style burger joints in Perth, this family burger restaurant began as a pop-up, then launched their first store in Northbridge’s Old Shanghai food court. Fast forward 17 years, and they’re still going strong! With 5 locations now across the city – Northbridge, Ingelwood, Applecross, Mandurah and the newly opened Duncraig joint, their burgers are legendary. Think juicy smashburgers, fried chicken burgers, and even a burger with mash – there’s one for every taste! Our favourite is the Honey Butter Sandwich with two original chicken tenders, spiced honey butter and dill pickles. Or sometimes we keep it simple with their Deluxe Cheeseburger with organic smashed beef patty, American cheddar, minced onion, dill pickles, mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise, lettuce and tomato (try it with heavy cheese and/or bacon – you’ll be in burger heaven). Add some of their epic fries, served right on the tray, and a few cups of their specialty sauces or gravy and you won’t be able to hold back!

Peach Pit Bar – Scarborough

Located right on beautiful Scarborough Beach, The Peach Pit Bar is known for its signature smashed patty burgers and fun cocktails. With its bright coastal vibe and plenty of outdoor seating, there’s a burger for everyone. From the classic cheeseburger to the heart-stopping Pounder, and a feature ‘Burger of the Month’. And for those flexitarians among us, we love that they also have vegetarian burger options and delicious salads available. Our burger of choice at the Peach Pit Bar is the Hail Mary with bacon, pickles, onion rings, cheese, tomato, lettuce and buffalo sauce. All of the burgers come with hand-cut chips, but if you want to go all out and add loaded chips or mac n’ cheese bites, we certainly wouldn’t judge!

Flames Burgers + Grill – Wanneroo, Balcatta, Clarkson

This small family-owned business is rapidly growing with three locations now part of their repertoire (Wanneroo, Balcatta, Clarkson). With a huge menu featuring burgers, luscious shakes, hotdogs, wings and loaded fries – they serve comfort food at its best. Their Big Boy Burgers are stacked high with succulent smash patties, fried chicken, fish and even steak. Our favourite was the Big Glen Big Boy Burger with double succulent smash patties, double cheese, bacon, fresh onions and special sauce. Pair that with their Cheeseburger Loaded Fries (so good – we’d come back just for these!!) and one of their delicious crazy shakes for a carb-load you won’t forget.

Betty’s Burgers – Perth CBD

Looking for a good value burger fix in Perth’s CBD? Hailing from Noosa in Queensland, Betty’s Burgers launched their first WA store in Forrest Place a few years ago. This beachy burger shack with its 1950s vibe is slinging some of the tastiest burgers in town. All burgers are made fresh to order, and let us assure you, they’re juicy and great value at $13-$16 for most options. We ordered the Betty’s Deluxe Burger and Crispy Chicken – both were fantastic with an added side of French fries, we were happy campers. Grab an epic thickshake, or an iconic frozen custard ice cream (only $6 for a double scoop), to round out your burger feed!
