2025 Perth Royal Show – Everything You Need to Know
The Perth Royal Show returns to Claremont Showgrounds from 27 September – 4 October 2025, bringing eight big days of entertainment, animals, food, and fun for the whole family. Now in its 189th year, this iconic event continues to connect city and country, drawing huge crowds with a mix of beloved traditions and exciting new experiences.
What’s New at the Perth Royal Show in 2025?
This year’s Show is packed with fresh attractions alongside fan favourites. Making its Southern Hemisphere debut is Lunarix, a 24-metre-high thrill ride that promises both breathtaking views and heart-racing spins. The Flying Fools from Montreal will also perform for the first time in Perth, wowing audiences with daring high-diving acrobatics by day and night.
The Animal Nursery has been reimagined, offering even more chances for cuddles, feeding sessions, pig washing, and photo opportunities. At Cattle Corner, you can meet and pat friendly cows and calves, while the Smart Farms zone lets kids explore the future of food and farming through hands-on ag-tech activities.
Foodies won’t want to miss Grazeland, a new global cuisine precinct serving street food flavours alongside live cooking demonstrations. Add in the ever-popular Dairy Pavilion and a refreshed Yellow Brick Road adventure trail, and there’s no shortage of delicious discoveries.
Nightly Spectaculars at the Perth Royal Show
As the sun sets, the Main Arena comes alive with live music, motocross stunts, drones dancing across the sky, and the biggest fireworks in Show history — including a world-first 360° immersive “sky theatre” finale. New for 2025, Late Night Woody’s keeps the fun going after the fireworks with drag bingo, Celtic bush dancing, comedy, live music, and more.
Show Traditions
Of course, it wouldn’t be the Royal Show without woodchopping competitions, elite showjumping, sideshow alley thrills, and over 4,000 animals on display. More than 8,000 competitors and 150 community groups will take part this year, showcasing the best of WA’s agriculture, talent, and community spirit.
Ticket Prices
Thanks to funding from the State Government, the Perth Royal Show is offering half-price tickets for children aged 4-15 years old, students and concession holders! There are also new add-ons, bundle deals and discounted options to explore.
General adult tickets are $49.95, with bundle discounts available, while children under four enter free. And, for the first time, the After Dark experience at the Perth Royal Show is set to steal the spotlight with After Dark tickets available for $33 (entry from 5pm) so you can dive into a whole new side of the Show.
